  • Restricted Countries/Regions: Businesses located in Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the sanctioned regions of Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk in Ukraine are not eligible to use the WhatsApp Business Platform.
  • Message Eligibility: Users of WhatsApp Messenger and the WhatsApp Business app in the aforementioned countries and regions cannot receive messages sent via the WhatsApp Business Platform.
  • Restrictions in Turkey: While businesses in Turkey can use the WhatsApp Business Platform, there are specific restrictions related to message delivery:
    • Messages sent via Cloud API to WhatsApp users with a Turkish country calling code will not be delivered.
    • Messages from WhatsApp users in Turkey sent to a business phone number registered for use with Cloud API will not be delivered.
